General practice has been open throughout the pandemic but care is being delivered differently to keep patients & staff safe & help stop the spread of Covid-19. Where face to face appointments are necessary they are being facilitated - more than 400k a day currently.

Not mentioned in most coverage on it this morning but State of Care 2019/20 found vast majority - 94% - of GP practices in England are rated good or outstanding. Patients should be reassured & GPs proud they are delivering safe care in face of immense pressures
