US District Court Judge John Koeltl in SDNY recognized WikiLeaks and other media organizations have First Amendment right to publish materials allegedly hacked or stolen. YouTube's pledge to censor such content undermines the First Amendment.

it's might be official now, but it's been true for a looooong time. At least now they're honest about it. Wow, two American proxy states who were not so secretly allied are not officially allied.

The Beirut port exploded because of an incompetent & corrupt ruling elite who doomed Lebanon to make a profit with a nod from the US, which is now trying to exploit the chaos to weaken & blame Hezbollah in its sadistic maximum pressure campaign. My latest

I explain the incompetence, indifference, corruption and neoliberal dystopia that destroyed Beirut. There are dark days ahead for Lebanon & everyone is to blame, but some more than others. This will prob piss everyone off, but it’s an honest assessment

The US and its Lebanese allies are trying to blame the Beirut explosion on Hezbollah as they prepare fresh sanctions. Leave it to Washington to turn a catastrophe into an opportunity for imperialism. with

"All they’ve been able to do is argue that The Grayzone reports things other media outlets do not report, which are not in alignment with the approved viewpoint of the US gov't. Which is to say, all they can argue is that The Grayzone is doing journalism."

that was retaliatory and symbolic, not meant to shape our government. And it doesn't hold the same weight as when the US does it. The dollar dominates the world economy, so sanctions from the treasury department are way more powerful and destructive than from any other country

The US is always trying to exploit problems in Lebanon to attack and weaken Hezbollah. For some background see what I wrote last year about this very thing 1 2

Americans would completely lose their shit if China or Russia imposed sanctions on US politicians to try to shape our government. But we do it to other countries without thinking twice. The hubris is astonishing.
