So striking: Obama spent a decade dogged by attacks on his patriotism. Trump has now: used troops for campaign stunt, skipped war remembrance because of rain, declared military ballots shouldn’t count, and avoided Arlington Cemetery. Oddly, no questions of his patriotism.

“This is how the president works,” one White House official said. “He’s doused a bunch of people in gasoline and he’s waiting for someone to light a match.” This is a modern take on "will no one rid me of this troublesome priest."

Complete BS. But this is where Fox is. There's what you can see on video, and then there's Fox' alternative truth. And no question, Trump wanted to pick on Acosta. He's the face of the press demon.

Here’s where we are: In the span of a couple days, the president suspended the access of a CNN reporter to the White House, while inviting multiple Fox News hosts on stage to campaign with him.

As a D.C. resident, I don’t have a senator or a congressperson to vote for. So enjoy that privilege, people of the states. There are nearly 700,000 of us — more people than in Wyoming or Vermont — who don’t have it.

Still can’t get over Hannity denying he would be on stage the whole day, getting brought up by Trump, and then pointing to actual news reporters and calling them fake.

The fact that Donald Trump has held sixty-six rallies since being elected president but still hasn’t visited our troops in a combat zone tells you all you need to know about him.

Super perceptive, important piece here by . No easy answers. But something we in media all need to think about. Social media has radically changed society (and the presidency) in ways we are only starting to truly comprehend.

The doctor who operated on shooter is a Jew. The shooter shouted anti-Semitic slurs at him even as he tended his wounds. The doctor said that he was proud to offer medical care to a human who was wounded. You want to know what it means to be a Jew? Here's your answer.
