Or maybe it should be "The Admiral Grace Hopper Quarters". That's more appropriate.

What weird, fun, or unique thing do you do in your house to make it more interesting? For example, my wife and I just discussed naming our rooms after famous people or people that we admire. So instead of "the spare bedroom", it would be called "the Grace Hopper suite".

The fact that Apollo already has a cache built-in means it's really close to being ready for Suspense (with the disclaimer that I probably am missing a lot of nuanced stuff and it's likely way more complicated than I am making it out to be)

This doesn't even use Render While You Fetch pattern, but the primary benefits I'm looking for are illustrated above.

So, <Suspense fallback={<GenericFallback/>}> <ErrorBoundary fallback={<GenericError/>}> <ApolloComponent> </ErrorBoundary> </Suspense> const ApolloComponent = () => { const data = useApolloResource() return ... }

No need to reinvent the wheel for loading and error states for every component; just wrap them in Suspense and ErrorBoundary, and move on. If you need more granular loading/error states, wrap more granularly.

I don't have a running code example, but the DX will be improved with Suspense. Instead of const {loading, error, data} = useQuery(...); if (error) return renderError(); if (loading) return renderLoading(); return ... You just use the Suspense and ErrorBoundaries.

If you try hard enough ;) But no, there isn't an official suspense release yet.

Hey and I just listened to your Chats with Ken(t) episode today, which gave me a lot of inspiration for building real-time audio transformers with Web Audio. Thanks for sharing! πŸ‘

Create React App 3.3.0 has one more trick up the sleeve: In dev mode, it prints a crucial bit of information: "Note that the development build is not optimized."

3. You don't always have to be at 10. Heck, I'm a happy person and I'm typically between 2 and 4. 4. That means if you are above 5, you know the person is really feeling happy. It's a good model.

My wife and I have a habit of checking in with each other by asking the question: "How do you feel, on a scale from -10 to 10?" There are a few fun things this show: 1. We will sometimes be less than 0, and that's okay; 2. If someone is below 0, they could use some attention;
