It’s the most entrapping of catch-22s.

It is SO hard to tell these days. I only noticed that some people had replied to that tweet saying so and I then checked the account itself.

So far still haven’t told me WHY they have switched from cardboard to single-use plastic that has an environmental cost in its production and disposal. Yes, it’s technically recyclable, but not easily by the consumer, which means much will end up in landfill.

Mine told me they can smell fear. What do I do with THAT?

If you like, I’ll happily save them and send you a boxful every six months.

This is where sent me when I complained about unrecyclable plastic bubble bags. Followed the link to RecycleNow. No information on how or where to recycle this sort of plastic. Not questions I need to ask about a cardboard box. 🤷‍♀️

I trundle off to the supermarket each week with a bag of packaging bags to put in the bag recycling bin. They don’t take these boyos.

This reply is disingenuous. These bubble packs are not EASILY recyclable with general household waste. Many authorities will not accept them at kerbside. Cardboard packaging is easily and widely accepted for recycling.

What the hell, , what the actual hell? In the past few months you’ve started delivering in non-recyclable plastic bubble packs instead of cardboard and it just beggars belief. Please, PLEASE stop.

Can someone sit Richard down in a quiet room and explain Brexit to him? Then get him to explain where he was wrong to viewers? This is no laughing matter. Popular media are the source of political information for so many people. Getting it right is a profound responsibility.

I found out about a 34 year old family secret this weekend, that turned one of our favourite family memories into something even better. I hope my friends on here enjoy it. I grew up in a country town, population 4,900. I was the youngest of three, with two older sisters.
