BB: Yale decides to use the intentional walk card on Maves, who's had an impactful day, but it doesn't work as Vulgamore hits a huge two-out RBI double to right center field. Now 11-8 Bobcats with Bender at the plate.

BB: That was definitely the most normal inning of the game as the Bobcats go down 1-2-3. We are moving to the later stages of the game with the Bobcats clinging to a 9-8 lead. Another pitching change for Quinnipiac as sophomore RHP Joe Preciado takes the place of Donnelly.

BB: More craziness in Hamden, as Yale outfielder Alex Stiegler leads the inning off with a double. But, attempts to steal third and is called out on a very low throw by Bender. This stops the Yale momentum and the Bobcats still have a 9-8 lead going to bat

BB: Correction, Lutz is also 3-3 for the Bobcats. Lutz's big two out home run and Maves set the tone mentality have been a big part for a big offensive day.

BB: More runs only mean more tweets as Vulgamore hits a routine ground ball, but Yale overthrows the attempt to catch Maves as third. This allows Quinnipiac to take a 9-8 lead.

BB: What a day for Maves, as he hits his second double and is the only Bobcat with three hits. Quinnipiac has a chance to do damage with Vulgamore due up.

BB: Just before you're able to blink, Yale continues to fight and scores a run off a Huscher error and a Dey RBI single. 8-8 it what has been a wild out of conference game.
