he/him/his. a.k.a. Mr Regal Jelly. I work at @dynamicland1, a simple, innocuous tuple-processing collective.

Are you doing anything to automate the search for lines at angles, or is it just straight digging?

This is an extremely good tip, since I work a block away and haven't heard of it.

I always assumed it was because the platforms want to use on-platform messaging, require the recipient to have an account, etc. "growth hacking" or what have you.

Depending on your application, bilinear interpolation (/ inverse) is probably good, but you may also want to look at projective interpolation: reedbeta.com/blog/quadrilat….

Pssh, what do pundits know about electability? Let's apply inviolable mathematical law to cold, hard data and get the real scoop: observablehq.com/@joshuahhh/est….
(WARNING: cold, hard data unlikely to bear any resemblance to reality.)

No biggie, but I had assumed Internet of Shit was supposed to be the voice of sanity saying "You don't need your lights to be online! It kinda sucks!", not the voice saying "Ok, well, if you want your lights to be online, you should use This Product".

The email the organizers sent says that the ban has always been there, but Mystery Hunt has always received an exemption (till now). Kinda equivalent, but kinda not?

I think so! City proper is about 50 square miles with 500k people. Metro area is 6m people. Seems like an intensified version of SF's situation. I wonder if the Miami metro area has patchwork-of-cities governance issues similar to SF's.
