Today's Python history lesson: Python took its control and data structures from ABC, its identifiers, strings and %-string formats from C, and its regular expressions from Perl. But its # comments (and #!) and -c command line flag came from the UNIX v7 shell.

True. Actually I think most people do want to live in the rural no noisy no polluted non dense areas ... but most peopel (today) need to go where the jobs are ... This is not really the cities (which are too expensive) but more the industrial areas. But clearly not the villages.

For me it takes like 45 minutes by car (average) and I cannot go quicker than 1h 45 min by public transport. It can get really ugly by car if there is an accident or roadwork. But this is why something has to change. To make it better for the cities, urban and rural areas.

Just to make this clear: Petr you are absolutely right that this needs more that to say "take the bus"! We need really smart new urban mobilty concepts that respect peoples need for "individual" mobility and also make our cities more livable.

No doubt that an average utilisation of two passengers per bus is really bad. But thats probably because everyone rides by car ? .... which leads to many more problems. The point is to bring people to use shared transport. (IMHO) Absolutely right that we need new engines!

The point I wanted to make was the space used and wasted by cars. Which is even worse in dense areas like cities. I fully agree that there needs to be something done to replace current engines. Also in busses.

I agree that busses today are not "green". They take up to 50l / 100 km. But since they are a lot more populated than the average car which is only 1.1 to 1.3 people per car they even win this battle. Utilisation is the main car problem. In terms of space and emissions.

Space used for 72 people using cars (auto), bus, bikes (fahrrad). Taken from . High density low distance areas like cities cannot afford cars.

Two ways to earn: Money for time: Do it once, get paid once. Do it again tomorrow. Money for value: Do it once, get paid indefinitely. Make it better tomorrow.

RQ ( Queue) is a simple library for jobs and processing them in the background with workers. It is backed by Redis and it is designed to have a low barrier to entry.
