it turns out he was at the funeral of a Women's Institute's officer. Same venue, a week too early. 2/2

OH WOW :) A friend of mine tops this. A few years ago, a rugby team-mate passed away, and one of us went to the funeral to represent. After spending a hour in the venue, he realised that he didn't recognise anyone, and that the room was oddly only women... 1/2

Or... The damage from headdesking after arguing with procurement on why I had to send them and email to authorise myself to send an email to them...

I've done that thing of entering a room for a meeting, introducing to people, after a few minutes understanding I was in the wrong meeting, and exiting nonchalantly. Probation passed, I guess...

I may be a little too conserva...tionist here, but I'd keep the internal ambience as close as possible to how it was originally conceived

I'm not entirely sure it would work. The interior wasn't designed to get lighting this way.

Our sister Lyra's funeral is 1pm Wednesday in Belfast. I suggest fellow-journalists who can't attend step out - wherever you are, with others or alone - around that time to commemorate her under the slogan 'We Stand With Lyra.' . Please retweet.

Okay babes, let's talk about age. Pretty often people tell me I look like in my end 20s or beginning of my 30s or a truly surprised about my actual age (turning 37 soon). Although I appreciate people mean it as a compliment, I wonder... What is so bad about being 40, 50 or 90?

This is an excellent part-time/freelance posting for a UX designer at . You'll get to work at the intersection between open data, SaaS and the public sector. An opportunity unlike any other in the sector.
