Today at Davos, the conference for billionaires + others, Trump dismissed traumatic brain injuries () sustained by US soldiers in Iraq as not “serious,” and referred to them as “headaches.” But here’s the thing — they ARE really, really serious.

Even mild TBI can be devastating. Symptoms include headaches, dizziness, problems w/ memory + reasoning. Once troops come home, they can have trouble driving a car down the street or comprehending their children’s homework.

Our reporting ***again, in 2010*** revealed the ways the US government failed to diagnose, treat and even take seriously the condition. More than that — they even denied soldiers with purple hearts.

But not everyone gets access — even still. It continues to destroy the lives of both US troops and civilians. Don’t believe us? Clock the responses to THIS thread 👇

(And yes, soldiers now get Purple Hearts for TBIs – the Army acknowledged the severity of so-called invisible wounds.)

As you probably know, we’ve continued to report on the military. We still want to hear from active duty service people (specifically Navy) who have had difficulties treating mental health issues sustained during service. Confidential form here 👇

“Headaches and a couple of other things”. Cover-up. We don’t know how badly these troops were injured and he isn’t going to tell us. He doesn’t want us to know for obvious reasons. Deliberately minimizing it. Were there fatalities? If there were we’ll never know.
