In my mind, is really just a term I use to help people understand the ‘kinds’ of ways we can work. Ultimately it’s a combination of so many factors (team size, personalities, timescales, scope etc etc). Problem is then sometimes people assume a ‘standard’ approach.

For those who attended my and expressed an interest in my approach to ‘Taking notes’, I’ve not forgotten you. I’ve been busy with the new project and getting settled at the client. I’ll share the first in the next few days 🙏🏼

This is really great Lewis! I love the way it describes the benefits but also the challenges. Years ago I worked at home 4 out of 5 days and recognise some of the challenges.

As a Business Analyst it often falls on you to do “all the other stuff”. Be clear on work and don’t assume it’s your job just because it isn’t the of other team members.

As a consultant we’re often coaching clients on what a Product Manager should be doing within an Agile framework. Different organisations seem to have different interpretations of the role (and Product Owner too).

Passenger management is broken in Victoria station. Over the last 3 weeks, the area down to the Victoria line is rammed and takes 20+ minutes to get to the platform. Why has this recently changed?!

When you misspell ‘Booking Confirmation’ and put ‘Booing Confirmation’ and you internally giggle for approximately a full minute.

I really dislike this kind of wording (looking at you ). It implies I’m doing something stupid - in fact, I would LOSE money by being a Cineworld Plus member as I don’t get to go to the cinema often enough to take advantage of it.

Big day of discussing ‘Emotionally Intelligent Buildings’ (different to ‘Smart Buildings’). 5 different interviews involving 7 people. I’ve definitely earned my pennies and I’m done with talking for the day.

Dear sandwich shops. It’s lovely that you have a ‘New recipe’ and have a sticker to show that… but would be nice to know ‘how’ it is ‘new'? I know the implication is that it is now ‘better’ but if the difference is indiscernible, do you even need to highlight it

I don’t usually recommend music stuff but is playing some 'Susumu Yokota’ and it’s super cool for helping with concentration while working!

It’s almost Thursday and I’ve spent the whole week pretty much solidly in . They’ve been necessary but doesn’t ‘feel’ . Luckily I have a full meeting-free day tomorrow to get on top of that ‘To Do’ list 🎉
