In the legal field, I would suggest better, relevancy oriented indexing of official, Gov't and public institutions web sites (they have good, though free, quality content and you already index them or so it seems ) 2/2

Since you searched for it, the crawler automatically starts crawling related pages

A few questions to Agnel : 1. Is your implementation of YaCy a fork ? 2. You say Sarchy's index is for the time being smaller than YaCy's one. Does that mean that they are different ? Or is your indexed a part of YaCy's P2P network ?

Yes. My implementation is a fork of yacy. I am including social media signals as a ranking parameter. My index is a part of yacy.

3. If Sarchy's index is independent from YaCy's one, does that mean that Sarchy's index is a centralised (i.e. not distributed) one ?

Ideally everyone should install yacy on their own computer. But very few people are willing to take that effort. Sarchy makes yacy accessible as a webapp

No. Sarchy is just part of Yacy P2P network.

Ok. So when we query Sarchy, why aren't we querying the reste of YaCy's database ? (sorry, am a bit confused, not accustomed to P2P technology/distributed networks)

Sorry for the first question about Sarchy being or not a fork (of YaCy). It is : you answered in such a way two weeks ago in a Reddit thread

Sarchy does primarily use YaCy database. Only minor ranking modification is done.
