I'm Irish, and even I know people like you celebrate the Boston Tea Party, which was all those things. People like you even named the reactionary takeover of the party of Abraham Lincoln after the event. Muppet.

The kind of pull-no-punches reporting the should be doing. The team seem far more willing to lay it on the line than their London counterparts. Perhaps it's because they have had to operate in a hyper-sensitive bitter political divide since forever

Need a second autopsy. Can anyone trust the system, in the light of the sequence of events so far? Prior to the release.of the video, the police narrative suggested poor George Floyd was agitated and 'became unwell'. He was well enough to beg 'please don't kill me'. But they did

This would be interesting. has learned that globalisation has brought advantages, but the big winners have been corporations, whose upper echelons siphon off more and more of the planet's wealth. Would he bring that knowledge to the table at ?

As ever, Michel Barnier is clear, precise, polite and consistent. David Frost seems out of his depth. He's more Des O'Connor than David Frost, gurning for the cameras

The best PR for farmers & farming comes from farmers & farming Twitter feeds like show the day-to-day realities of life on farm are worth a lot. Of couree there are sustainability and biodiversity challenges, but we have nothing to hide & a great story to tell

's masterpiece 'Do the Right Thing' portrayed the fallout from police choking a man to death where the constant undercurrent of racism exploded That was thirty years ago, and things seem worse Because the President is either a racist or he is pandering to racists

This is dystopian. In the same week as when heavily armed protestors in Kentucky staged a ritual lynching of the governor's effigy. On his front lawn. While the police looked on like they were toilet-rolling a teacher's house.

Very little in that list to argue against capping payments. An oil sheikh, a beef baron and a vet!

Time for the British public to decide whether they will tolerate the Tories using the Trump playbook to undermine the independence of the press and couch vigorous and penetrative objective journalism as '!aggressive rude and biased' This is the slippery slope

5/ Our nearest neighbours seem to these Irish eyes to be sliding away from rational politics. This man forces the nation to look at the facts objectively. He is open about his own political leanings, but spares no-one. A focal point of rationality.
