Yesterday I cycled 43km home from work instead of taking the train. Our cycling infrastructure needs to improve! eg cycle path suddenly became 1km of gravel! I overtook 50+ cars in a traffic jam who were sat idling and polluting. If you build it, people will use it!

See me entertainingly trying to explain how a rocket works without using the words momentum, or velocity.... but instead just using fire. 🔥 🚀 tonight 8pm!

Today, I rooted for England. And today, after 36 yrs, i felt the most english I've ever felt. Watching a man from Dublin, hand the ball to a man from Barbados to go and win the cricket world cup for England? That is the England i love. The one that is inclusive, open, not closed

Leave sport alone. Let it be its own beautiful self and let it be free from your Brexit nonsense.

Off the top of my head, the last teams to beat England at men’s football world cups: Croatia, Italy, Germany, Portugal.

These pump up videos on Sky are incredible. The emotions that sport evokes are so raw. Some huge ones to come out today! Come on England, come on Rog, come on G.

I’ve looked at it with a pretty cynical eye - and I'm in the 90% view now that there is something fundamentally wrong in a physical assumption somewhere - ie it's not just unaccounted for trivial systematic measurement error - but that is different than saying new physics

Oh for sure - I got to the office and multiple people ask what happened to my arm and my face, as they were covered in oil and gunk...

I was such a scourge that I took the time to stand for 20 minutes by the side of the road mending a puncture to my scourge-machine. Still was faster to work than the delighters!

I'm sad that the is over, it's been an absolute joy. Loved the coverage, loved the passion of the fans, the stories of the players and the support back home for all the teams. Gutted for the Dutch (and for our Lionesses) but still made up for Team USA!

To those defending slightly confused BBC report stating that electric cars will make congestion worse, I almost agree. This is how I think we should travel in future. 1. Walk 2. Cycle 3. Public transport 4. Ride share (in EV's) 5 Car share (in EV's) 6. use private owned EV's
