Does the Strix require any special kit on the launch site or it simply lob to a right hood and the munition does the rest?

You program it to certain coordinates before firing it. Then it seeks a target within 150x150 m. Not in production anymore as I understand it. Late 80:ies tech.

No, you just program it with the time(secs after launch) the grenade will start the search phase. The ballistics does the rest. When a target is found in the search area the rockets stears the grenade to a direct hit. It works great.

And now Sweden is acquiring a grenade launcher 90, which of course also shoots Strix.

I have to say that Google translate still has some way to go. "Grenade lawnmower wagon"
