Any chance you're missing a dictionary that you had downloaded previously? It's in several add-on dictionaries but doesn't seem to be in either of the built-in ones.

We have a Mac version in the works, desktop development beyond that will depend on how well that does. (Though we might also consider a Kickstarter for a Windows port if we’re on the fence about its commercial viability)

Maybe, but I don't know if it's worth the time when there are so may other things we could be working on. Also, I think it's very likely widgets do become interactive in iOS 15 - the current SwiftUI-based implementation smacks of "COVID rush job" - so better to rethink it then.

They’re not interactive; about all we could do with a widget is a word of the day thing and we don’t see much demand for that. (Android’s had widgets since the beginning and we hardly get any requests about those)

Might just be running low on RAM, honestly - it’s a pretty old model without much RAM. Will see if we can figure out any other possibilities from crash logs.

Handwriting is already supported for that on iOS, haven’t gotten around to porting that feature to Android yet as it’s somewhat technically annoying.

Have to improve our Japanese language support first but we’re working on it.

Yes, but recovering them can be tricky since iOS purchases are totally anonymous - do you still have the receipt? Email us with that (or if not, your purchase date + items purchased), along your device name ("Pleco's iPhone" e.g.) and model and we can try to triangulate it.

In the US it's $29.99, elsewhere the local price depends on which app store you're using and which country / currency (but you can always buy on our website and pay the USD price). Best source for current prices of Pleco add-ons is our online store: .

Our internet access here at Pleco HQ was completely borked by yesterday’s tropical storm, so apologies if it takes us a little longer than usual to reply to emails for the next week or so.
