Delicate Sound of Thunder is on Blu-ray/DVD/2CD/3LP vinyl/deluxe 4-disc edition from Nov 20th but you can now stream Great Gig In The Sky on all streaming platforms & YouTube. The film will also be available to buy on Digital or get it On Demand Dec 1st.

The poster for the first gig at London's Roundhouse, with Pink Floyd performing the likes of Interstellar Overdrive & Astronomy Domine on the back of a flat bed truck. It wasn’t the most sophisticated event, with power being taken from a nearby building via an extension cable!

During October 1973, the Floyd worked on recording for the Household Objects project, but took a couple of days out to play in Germany (as seen here with this ticket) and Austria the following night.

On this day in 2003, Pink Floyd's first exhibition, Interstellar, opened in Paris, France, and ran until 25th January 2004. Did any of you go, and what did you think? For those who also saw Their Mortal Remains, how did the two exhibitions compare?

Let's celebrate the music of Syd Barrett this weekend. Two Syd compilations were released in October: in 1988, Opel, and 2010, An Introduction To Syd Barrett (which will possibly be re-released next year for those who missed out on the original release).
