are now blocked in on the forest service road at the 27km mark after people parked several vehicles sideways -- preventing vehicles from passing (this is the route out to Houston)

Unsure how many arrests were made at Gidimt'en -- will be trying to verify now that we're back in service again. Lots of people at 27km visiting with each other at a fire. Elders leading people in songs and prayer.

visibly frustrated after approaching 27 km asking to speak to someone + nobody at the site would talk with them. So they left -- asked for a message to be passed on to spokesperson

It's probably 500 meters from where the cars are first blocking the road and where the main site is (main 27km site with buildings, etc where most people are spending time). did not attempt to walk through the area.

Their purpose is clear. They are provoking and hoping to get film of police abuse to cover social media with and gain outrage. I support the rcmp to do whatever they need to do. You don't ask for trouble then scream abuse when it comes.

Good idea, why don’t I go dig a hole in your backyard , build a pipeline carrying poison for everything. If you try stopping me, good luck, we are in a oil republic and federal forces will take your ownership rights away because my pipeline is in the best interest for the country

Gas is transported at -162 degrees C if the pipe ruptures the liquid will pool but as it warms to local temp it will turn into it's natural form of a gas. So there will be more methane in the atmosphere but no ground damage unless freezing the ground is your idea of enviro damage
