Painful to see Roy scratching around nervously like this. Maybe better for him and the likes of Buttler and Stokes to play their natural one day game - especially on a low scoring pitch where an aggressive 30 or 40 could make all the difference.

This England fan couldn't agree more - and I'd say it was about 30 drunken idiots

There's a very good Australian word for any England fans booing Steve Smith as he returns to the crease after that horrific blow to the neck.

Indeed it is, and a thrilling part too. How was Woakes removed in the England first innings? And how have dozens of Aussie quicks plied their trade for decades?

Apologies for assuming your vote! I voted leave and was content with the soft Brexit deal that ensured. Now ...conflicted. Or rather equally irritated with and the 2nd ref army

...something that, as recently as 2015, during the ECB's indefensible torture of Greece, was widely accepted all across the British left. The Euro means the rich plunder the poor all across Europe. Then deploy riot police when they complain. Maybe you've been played?

I'd never choose him as PM nor support his party. My Ref vote didn't make him PM, in fact it left him & UKIP irrelevant for 2 years, & got rid of austerity Osborne. But every Remain vote was for status quo - austerity here & a system of huge cruelty in the EU that ruins lives.

Of course. Like I said both remain and leave can play the ‘embarrassing allies’ game. Me I supported Mays deal tho a labour member, but also as a labour member I’ve fought the Eu’s savage neoliberalism for decades - as most socialists did until George Osborne got his hooks in.

Whereas its so achingly progressive to fight alongside George Osborne, Tony Blair, posh lawyers, cashed up hedge funders and unelected Lords is it? Maybe both sides have some embarrassing allies & its best just to look at what the EU really is & whose interests it really serves.

Adam Goodes is a former Australian of the Year. He played 372 more games, won two more premiership medals, two more Brownlow medals, three more B&Fs and four more All-Australian jumpers than "social media users". I'm more interested in what he has to say.
