Are there more STARS than SAND grains on Earth? Add all the beaches, deserts & sand stuck in car mats: 10 million trillion GRAINS (10¹⁹) vs 100 billion trillion STARS (10²³). For every grain of sand there are ~1000 stars. A handful of sand represents 10s of millions of stars!!
