Security officers lunged for the sign, knocking my glasses to the floor and dragging me out of the hall. As I was shoved out of room. I think I shouted, “I wanted to ask about nuclear weapons!” and “This is a free press in Finland?”

Court watch programs are opening the public's eyes to the horror that public defenders have known about for a long time – the way the system grinds up vulnerable people for petty offenses.

After I get back from Port Isabel, the department of justice emails me and accuses me of sneaking an artist into the building. When I say I am the artist, they tell me that though I had permission to report in court, I was forbidden from sketching without additional permission

I’m able to go to the afternoon session of court by paying a taxi 30$ to drive me 10 minutes into the center. Immigrants leaving detention are also required to be picked up by these exorbitantly expensive taxis, instead of walking to the gate. It’s up to $60 to the nearest town

Baloney. They asked if I had a sign, I said yes, I showed them the sign and was explaining exactly why when they lunged at me. They didn't attempt or want a discussion. I was held in a room in the Presidential Palace and then a dention facility till the press centers closed.

Amazing. Half of Trump voters worry that they personally will be attacked by the gang MS-13. This is a gang that targets immigrant teens in a few specific areas, has not grown in size for a decade, and is not active at all in most US towns.

Not only were the Finnish authorities quite rought, but even more, none would give me their names. One or two showed me their name on a badge, but then pulled it away when I tried to write it down. Also, virtuallly everyone I saw had an ear piece on -- were taking directions.
