should stop rewriting web + apps all the time and focus on helping they customers, for example adding enterprise features like machine-learning, data-processing, maybe image and voice recognition...

This is almost as bad as Box which requires you send them a faxed contract if you want to add a user.

I am not surprised. I recently had a very unfortunate event and lost my MFA and backup codes and was told by support that there was nothing they could do. They don't have any process to deal with this scenario. So I'm a paying customer who can't access his files anymore!

Oh that's fantastic to hear - if your MFA and backup codes are lost, the account should be completely inaccessible to anyone, including the company itself. Sorry for your loss, but that's exactly how I expect this to work. Big props to dropbox.

I love how companies dont do anything or help out in any way giving copy/paste responses until you put them on blast. As much as , , , and others have their shortcomings it still allows for a level of power to be given back to the consumer.
