He is everything I want in a player. So much passion. He is all heart and I love it. Sixers need more of that passion and I glad he brought the passion out of Simmons and Butler. This will be good for them long term.

I love the sixers. I also love the junkyard dog. Dudley has been doing this for a decade. It brings me happiness.

is an opportunity to educate the country about the need to alleviate the harms caused by mass incarceration, and unravel the complicated tangle of laws that perpetuate it. This month we’re fighting for fair chances.

Freedom Caucus leader Jim Jordan is concerned about Democrats investigating voter suppression, which is not surprising because without voter suppression he wouldn’t have a seat in Congress. His district is so gerrymandered it looks like a duck.

Just don’t understand NYT thought process here for how sharing Neera’s mother’s comments benefits the public. Imagine how upsetting this is for someone’s mother.

So your issue is more with the amount of time that is already required of US children, not the general idea of a National service. So if we cut back high school by a years, you would be more on board?

This would be implemented over an extended period of time. So kids going into high school would know it was coming and life would be built around it. Many kids are already taking gap years and there have been clear evidence to show the benefits of extra time before college.

Respectfully, I’d disagree. Surely this wouldn’t have maximum impact on everyone, but 2 years of service is a long time in a young persons life. Exposure to vastly different people, regions, and overall service to the country seem like things that would be a benefit.

Is your problem with this idea that it would force young people into this service, or that you don’t think the two years of time would achieve desired results?

We are a country that separates children from their parents. Its not just happening at the border, its happening across the country. Its happening to the families of veterans, teachers, nurses, home healthcare works and so many others. That’s who we are right now.

Seems like a good reason not to quote unnamed White House officials. If they don’t have the credibility to say something truthful, why would you grant them anonymity?

Also, we should be placing asylum seekers who have cleared the credible fear bar in situations with the most resources to support them. This entire idea from the White House is further example of how they view people fleeing for their lives as subhuman. Its disgusting.
