Salisbury is the perfect example because I (frustratingly) know neither the MSM nor the 'deep state' truly nailed how awful they were. (They knowingly pushed Kremlin lies for 6mths). Yet despite all that Corbyn himself, his TV & HoC appearances, did enough to turn the public off.

The issue of antisemitism took over. Chris Williamson was not banished for supporting Assad's fascist state but for winding up Jews once too often. The Labour take up of the Integrity Initiative Russian disinfo Op became about Spanish antisemite Pedro Baños,

A culture (which I took part in) of often gleefully goldmining Corbyn's past meant that the present, what Labour were actually doing now, largely disappeared. Their apparent policy of not supporting the Syrian White Helmets, for example, was totally ignored.

I had 2 other never asked policy questions which illustrate how they got off easy: Did Labour support the UK training Ukrainian troops? Did Labour support EU sanctions on the Nicaraguan dictatorship?

The answer to those 3 questions is, of course, no. One of the things which I don't think folks understand enough is that a v big reason they're clinging on so hard is to defend this 'anti imperialist' foreign policy agenda. Foreign policy looms v v large for them.

*1 line that didn't survive the edit!* Voters like Gogglebox’s Tom Malone who commented last Friday on news of Russia being banned from sporting events that “Russia reminds me of Dave [his giant dog]. No matter how many times I tell him to stop licking me balls he still does it.”

Before the election I spoke with He spelled out what a Corbyn premiership would have meant for European policy. None of this came up in the election campaign (not for want of me trying). It's useful to note, I think, what might have happened.

I also spoke with some Bolivian Londoners from who had met Corbyn at the big Climate Strike protest back in September. Here's what I was told.

Kyiv Post Editor told me that if Ukraine could survive Trump it would survive Corbyn. One of the questions which I point out here 👉 that wasn't asked in the election is 'Did Labour support the UK training Ukrainian troops?'

Most missed this because you have to listen carefully as much to what's not being said but here is the reply by 'Corbyn' to Theresa May from September 2018 No, he does not directly blame the Russia state. There is still a gap left there for 'rogue actors'.

*Especially read this in the context of the previous seven months and the immediate reaction from him and from his colleagues to him immediately after the attack.

I see there are the faint embers of what Labour might want to change its foreign policy to. Well, here's a start. Back in March I explained that Labour had a pro-Kremlin foreign policy. So don't do that. +listen to sister socdem parties. Start there? 👍
