Here is a piece from 3 years ago on the American (oh the irony) company with the Boeing that Evo has hired. Israel was their last customer. TeleSUR talks of dropping water but they usually drop chemical retardants.

Oh, and the Supertanker has to be based in Brazil where there's the only big enough runway. So Morales is buying an American solution that requires Bolsonardo's nod to operate.

No idea if it will work, can only hope that it does. Just to point out the gobsmacking spin from TeleSUR and Bolivian regime before some actually start to believe it.

Look at the *bright shiny object*, ignore that it is an American solution and needs a Brazilian runway. Ignore that next door Paraguay has contained its fires and is offering Bolivia help, which is being refused

Of course it aids propagandists and it helps Morales - but not the Amazon - that all the headlines are about Brazil & Bolsonardo.

Note for the folks boosting Morales' 'socialist solution' (an American plane that a citizen sourced and he eventually signed off on after civil society pressure) here's another socialist offering Brazil aid.

This is the core narrative that they are attempting. It's bollocks on steroids but will sweep up many because Brazil is the headline and not Bolivia.

Am told that a Bolivian pilot called Jose Raul Bolivar Montalvo contacted the Supertanker US company then got the Governor of the worst effected region involved and eventually Morales signed off. And Brazil has to approve use of their runway. Go socialism!

Not everything is Bolsonaro. @Amazone also affect Bolivia. Brazilian government blames NGOs. Our partner @FundacionSolon rightly places responsibility with Brazilian +Bolivian governments that encourage agro-export

Bolivia legalises & expands ‘savage’ deforestation for China and Russia beef deals. "If there’s no social and international pressure on Bolivia, the government will carry on," says the new Decree violates Bolivia's landmark Mother Earth law.

Amid outrage at destruction, the impact of global consumption cannot be overlooked. Read investigation on how beef from JBS - world's biggest meat firm found guilty of illegal Amazon deforestation - is still sold in UK supermarkets:

QT Supertanker is operating, however fire resumed today in the zones where the airplane discharged water yesterday. Two helicopters sent by the Argentinian government should be joining the task today. ('Sovereignty'?)

Y'also gotta wonder at the thinking that shows a story about a US Boeing plane, from Yanquiland, approved to be sent south by the vile Yanquis, then being billed as glorious socialism not accepting evil Yanqui aid.
