Great to see South San Francisco approve another 800 homes yesterday. This is in addition to the 2,800+ already under development and represents a combined *18%* increase in their housing stock. (SF approved a 1.6% increase last year.)

This is good for the environment (shorter commutes) 🌳, good for families (affordable homes) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, good for economic mobility (📈 ), and good for the country (🇺🇸 ).

That 18% increase figure cannot be correct. That would indicate there are only 15,000 homes in San Francisco today, a city with a population of 880,000 people. I mean, I know the city is packed, but not 53-people-per-household kind of packed.
