Utah was supposed to play at Wyoming. They still play at UCLA. 45 covid cases, 0 deaths in Albany Cty (where Laramie is). 123k covid cases, 3k+ deaths in LA Cty. But it's a safety issue 🙄. COME PLAY US YOU COWARDS!

Pac-12 can’t control Wyoming is the problem. If they were simply cowards & scared of the virus, they’d cancel the season, but right now they’re scrambling for profits & the more control over the players they have, the more likely a season happens. I am sorry about your game tho!

I'll bet ultimately they're going to cancel the entire season. But with this approach, they're able to postpone such a cancellation until they have no choice.

Better be prepared for UCLA to shut down some of its academic programs for good. State funding is drying up. Sharp decline in housing revenue. Sharp decline in donor money. Now no sports tv revenue. Most public schools can not sustain that

Perhaps conference only going forward could lead us to what fans wants a true playoff with every conference champion playing in with a couple wild cards to even out the playoff pairing. I mean do we really need to see South East Alabama vs Alabama in November as OOC game?

The small schools need the money from those games. The P5 schools are slowly moving away from it, as future OOC games will give us more Top 10 P5vP5 matchups.
