I desperately hope the article resonates with those who need to hear it. Happy to yell with you (and whenever your voice needs a rest to refuel). Great work.

Why do so many domestic violence advocates, social workers, sexual violence workers ignore the alarmingly high prevelance of police who are perpetrators of domestic violence? Because they believe they need those same abusers to keep victims safe..THAT’S dangerous.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Horrific. Why isn’t this national news? How can we help make it so?

Your daily reminder that it’s been 3 years since Rona Ambrose introduces a bill mandating sexual violence training for judges and 7 months since the liberals re-introduced it. It hasn’t passed. Call your MP today and demand it get passed now.

In summation. This person got every break imaginable. Breaks not given to non white, non rich, non privileged men. The only sin the victims of this man committed was not being raped by a man the justice system felt comfortable putting in jail.

✔️ Merci. I appreciated the mix of open-ended questions and priority-setting options. A move away from a centralized operational model at to regional-based model would be welcomed. 🙏🏻

Revisit this still-relevant 2016 article, where artists and arts workers speak about sexual bias and harassment in Canada’s art scene. “Anyone in a position of power or authority can exploit a less powerful person’s ambition, poverty or insecurity.”

Quite something how Craig Kielburger can smear me as "bottom of the barrel" at the same moment that he refuses to answer whether or not his lawyer hired a private investigator w charity money to find out what school my kids go to and what my then 8 year-old's name is.
