These photographs show Church Street in Paddington and Khartoum, Sudan. In her upcoming exhibition A Magic Realist Afrabia, British-Sudanese artist Rayan Elnayal uses magic realism to merge these two seemingly disparate places, thus expressing her own cultural hybridity.
