Donald Trump has warned that the US is "locked and loaded" to strike again if Syria carries out new chemical attacks. If President Bashar al-Assad uses chemical weapons again, should the UK react in the same way? Listen live:

Replying to @SenSanders
Any use of chemical weapons by any State is wrong but military retaliation without evidence and US UK sends the wrong message that one rule for the powerful and another rule for the less powerful.

A political solution in Syria is the best way forward - use of missiles by US/UK/France has a devastating effect and could lead to the growth of terrorism and global instability.

This preemptive -UK-France airstrike without or parliament/Congress legal approval will make the Assad government to dig its heels and gather more internal support. It will have the opposite effect and make President more popular. Only the innocent Syrians will die.

Sad to know that International Law applies to the weaker states and not to super powers. This is a clear violation of international law and a disappointment for humanity. Bombing a chemical site could even cause more damage without knowledge of the type of chemical composition.

Hilarious Psyop, claims they struck chemical manufacturing sites. If they knew about so-called that didn't declare to the OPCW, why didn't they just TELL the OPCW? Also, you can't bomb a CW site without mass death/contamination. Idiots.

Statement by the Ambassador Antonov on the strikes on : A pre-designed scenario is being implemented. Again, we are being threatened. We warned that such actions will not be left without consequences. All responsibility for them rests with Washington, London and Paris.
