Not all of the songs are video-on-demand OK so I do not recommend using it during streaming - otherwise there may be long periods of silence on your VODs.

Yes - the issue is that it's a huge .gif file (around 5MB even after compression) so we're trying to figure out the best way to bring it back.

Interesting - could you send me a screenshot/video of what is happening? Also, are you getting any JavaScript errors in your console?

Just to be 100% clear, the gif is ours - we commissioned it from an artist. It was an anime sound clip in one of the songs that triggered YouTube to take down the stream.

Even though I interviewed for nearly 3 hours on the freeCodeCamp podcast, I still learned quite a bit about him and his coding journey from this interview:

Not yet, but the web-based version works great on phones - you can lock your phone and it will still play, and you can pause it from the lock screen.

We worried that it would cost USD $1,000 each month to run at scale (we had 14 Million minutes of listenership last month.) But with and some clever server configurations, it will cost less than $100. ¡Viva la Open Source!
