What is happening to pro cricket?? I'd really like to see the evidence behind the need for all these new formats. I blame !!

I was reading the new Wisden today and was mentioned. I love it that twitter has put me in contact with such like minded people, those you converse with week in week out. And they can spread the word. The cricket community is rather special 😍

Even if you do believe it, divide 170,000 by 68 (???) tournament matches and you get 2,500 per match in 20,000 plus capacity stadia. And they won't be evenly spread, so some grounds will have sold far less than that. I'm not sure it's that impressive.

I think the Hundred will bring Harrison down - Dobell - via ESPNCricinfo app

The Hundred was always a gamble, even pre-Covid. Harrison's refusal to bend is all about obstinacy over realism. Not including £1.3m to counties in costs means comp would make a loss. The bribe IS obviously a cost. Scrap The Hundred and attempt to save what we already had!

And you offering your views on here is good. People on both sides of the fence need to listen to each other. Thanks Lara

How does The Hundred consider the new gen any more than T20 Blast does Lara? Is the argument is about the product itself. Surely more how it is presented. Social media, streaming services, feeling like a supporter when nowhere near a ground, commercialising that relationship, etc
