Lewis Carnie and BBC radio 2 took a large group to see Stephen Sondheim’s Company. I’d seen the press night and couldn’t wait to go back. The ensemble of this company is staggering led by Rosalie Craig, Patti LuPone, Mel Giedroyc, Jonathan Bailey and Richard Fleeshman. Go go go.

Don’t tell Neil but I’ve fallen in love, with Prince Charles. The BBC documentary on him and his children was enchanting. He will make a wonderful monarch. King Charles forever. I adore the Queen by the way, “She’s simply the best”

Went to see Bat out of Hell last night at the Dominium the cast still as good and as fresh as when I saw it at the Coliseum. Two covers on for the lead and they were brilliant. The stage full of talent. Thank you cxxxxx

Took Lesley Joseph and Michèle Brandreth and we’re joined by Niki de Metz and Sam Taylor in the Royal Box at the Coliseum to see Lucia Di Lammermoor. Wow what an evening, stunning production starring Sarah Tynan, who was superb as were the rest of the cast. A must see production.

In 1972 at Her Majesty Theatre I went to the 1st night of Company, it was exhilarating as was tonight’s production at the Gielgud Theatre directed by the brilliant Marianne Elliot starring an amazing cast led by Rosalie Craig and the staggering Patti Lupone. Favourite Sondheim.

Inheritance is without doubt one of the best plays I’ve seen in my many years of theatre going. Not only is it a brilliant play but it is superbly acted and directed and yet another brilliant set from Bob Crowley. Thank you Sonia Freedman for bringing it to the West End. Go go go
