that is likely but, if you make 'words' that combine NFT's from users, the users get the ETH. For ex, if you made dao + ish (both mine) I would get your 0.002 ETH. It's a fun nonsense 'game' and I've received .012 already from those 'royalties'

If you create it for yourself, it’s your own business. If you create it for others, it’s art.

You should try to make NFT editions; sell them as ERC 721 collectibles. You could use to mint your tokens and use marketplaces like to sell them. thoughts on this?

I hope we can all coexist, and that solutions to acomodate all sensitivities may arise in due time, and that in the meanwhile people chill the fuck down a bit (you too ) and focus on what they are, indeed, supposed to be doing to expand this community.

often happens in the clashes between Status Quo and new ideas. So I guess I'm taking a side - if I am forced to - and I'm on the side of blessed lunatics like Max Osiris for they represent a purer form of expression unconstrained by conventions.

I am certain that many ideas could be discussed about how some artists could be held responsible for their choices but it seems that we have gotten to a point where there are many intertwined interests in the scene that don't allow for a clearer vision of the possibilities, as so

Let the lawyers and judges judge them if it ever comes to happen. I have witnessed a lot of insults being thrown around (both by my fellow artists, and collectors), some veiled threats and very little attempts at establishing a fruitfull dialogue.

one is said protection of IP, and the second - the most scary one - the fact that some artists use images (made by other people/artists/creators) as a foundation for their work. If an artist takes a conscious decision to use someone else's images, who are we to judge?

freedom. Can we force artists to limit themselves because they might be breaking the TOS? Can we force artists to conform if they want to succeed? The answer to both is, we can, but we shouldn't. In this new context of cryptoart there have been two main issues:

Art is not about whatever silly politics you think it is. Art is not an industry. Art is not a commodity. Art serves a higher purpose and it is only defiled by money because artists are people too, and they need to pay for food and bills. Art is about freedom, and that implies

the perceivable 'good investment' (I'm not complaining personally, I'm doing fine). Just because people have money - and ETH is money, yeah - they don't get to decide what is good or bad, nor to decide the shape of a future world. Art is not about showing power.
