The cross keeps bringing me back to questions with feet. It is not about mysterious transactions in the heavens. It is about the fulness of salvation for us here. Sacrifice is part of that. God's way is not escapist. It is completely involved. Jesus did this, and says follow!

Powerful moment from faith leaders gathered at the Capitol. We're delivering a letter to Congress this : Love means keeping families together & citizenship for all. Our Jewish community says no to detention & deportation. YES to immigrant safety.

Exactly one year ago, to the minute at around 7am, I sent two kids to school. Only my son Jesse came home. Jaime was murdered in school. I am forever haunted by my memory of that morning, rushing my kids out the door rather than getting one last minute. Did I say I love you?

"We should all be grieving today. We should be lamenting so many cruel final curbside moments, and doing all we can to make sure every kid comes home. The bus stop shouldn't be goodbye for good."

Dear Church, Jesus believed women. Protected women. Empowered women. Honored women publicly. Released the voice of women. Confided in women. Was funded by women. Celebrated women by name. Learned from women. Respected women. And spoke of women as examples to follow. Your turn.

Judge Beasley’s appointment is not only a step forward because she’s the first Black woman to lead NC’s highest court, but because she has a proven record of protecting voters and fighting for the rights of every North Carolinian.

Hoping every pastor will share from their pulpits that climate change is NOT an ideological divide - it's up to every person of faith who understands God as creator to embrace God's call to protect God's creation. That's what the does.

The evidence is clear: gun control works. We all deserve a society where we are safe from the threat of gun violence- Congress must take action.

: Detaining families causes unnecessary trauma to children and families, overburdens our current government systems and causes immigrant families to live in fear.
