Monarchy doesn't solve the succession problem very well. Catholic Church and other long-lived orgs plausibly a better model for stability and long-term thinking.

it's like a script written by a rationalist, but then the sound editor didn't know which character the rationalist was making fun of when placing the laugh track

I may like basic income but it seems like transhumanism should be more radical than that, like advocating robin hanson 's futarchy. Also medical reform could be a huge factor in BCI progress and life extension. Information law could be a big issue in the future

The transhumanist presidential candidate debates were boring. I didn't feel like anyone was a real transhumanist. All the candidates were using transhumanism as a platform for basic income (or basic housing). No new ideas brought up. No real geeking out

For me it depends on state of mind. Similar to whether thick/thin pens seem good. Caps, punctuation, & wordy grammar are all "detail oriented mind" (->thin pen). Lowercase, fragments are "brainstorming mind" (-> thick pen) also awake/tired correlates w all this

It seems like the way you can iterate plans when you see problems is better. Like, that's an extra process available when awake. When asleep, contradictions mostly slide off, or if you focus on them, generate rationalizations or something.

What if the quality of hallucination in planning is the same as the quality of hallucination in dreams? I.e. very poor for planning purposes.

Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates: The first gate is guarded by two men; one always lies and the other always tells the truth. Your words must be interpretable as a question that, when posed to one of the guards, identifies them. The second gate is

A real rhizome is just a tree structure, graph-theoretically right? I figured the distinction was that rhizomes can start fresh, as if a new plant, @ any point whereas biological trees are more centralized, roots & branches tied to the trunk.
