I love tech. I love the web. I love building successful products and teams. I work at ASOS doing all these things (but these opinions are entirely my own!)

I love using the pencil. But do I love it enough to carry my iPad and my MacBook Pro? I’ve tried being an iPad person, it’s not for me. Feels like an opportunity.

Kids challenge the human desire for self identity, balancing it with the drive to procreate. It’s complex. You fall in love with them and give your all while knowing you have to let go a little bit more each passing day. It’s unimaginably wonderful and it’s unbearably hard.

I have a 16gb phone. I get out of space all the time. It seems that with 32 all is well, at least for me. I have about 22k items in iCloud Photo Library. Minimum space on device for photos seems to be about 2.5gb. Never seen it take up less space.

Thanks for this explanation, it’s great. The second action you show - Siri Shortcuts - are there any worked examples of how that might look for the user once I tap that extra button?

There is clearly something about the US and wealth generation but from here, to me, it feels like a deeply broken country and society. Probably more so even than my own country. It’s time for America to embrace humanistic values IMO. That change would require true leadership

I like the idea of micro power generation on device. I also like the idea that we have some constraints on our device usage and the lack of battery innovation is maybe helping that.

Consider. If we had batteries with say 200x energy density and we were using that energy to do more with our devices, how would we generate the necessary electricity?
