They all live in a connected universe. Characters you’ve seen elsewhere may show up. If something major happens in one movie, then it’ll have consequences in the next one. And Spider-Man is obviously one of the top 3 stars, especially now that RDJ and Evans are gone.

It’s not just about the ensemble movies, but the fact that each picture plays into the others, and that an overarching narrative exists. That is *the* MCU’s winning formula, with the Avengers movies only used as a (very successful) excuse to jump from a phase onto the next.

Of course it’s not what the people want. For a few reasons: people barely know what AR is, let alone what they want out of it (or how). That kind of stuff is just eye candy in any case. Anyone who’s taken a single UX class would dismiss that as an information nightmare.

The two tech CEOs I think are doing the best job of CEO-ing are and . Neither of them had an easy start, they've developed and are executing winning strategies, and they're terrific ambassadors for their companies.

However, fortunately, I have no intention of buying a new phone this year. It’ll be 2020 for me. So at least I have a year to get even more mad before I make a decision.

Except… I have the Apple Watch. And a MacBook Pro. And I also use Darkroom, an iOS exclusive app, as my mobile editing suite. So, well, this whole thing is kind of annoying.

I’m really into mobile photography as a side hobby, and I feel like I’ve pushed my iPhone X to the limit. A jump to the iPhone XI would probably be significant, but if it had a better camera I’d buy a Pixel 4 instead.

I bought an Apple watch some ten months ago, and I really like it. I mostly use it for running, 4-5 times a week, and it’s undoubtedly a great tool. The fact that it locked me further inside Apple’s ecosystem, however, unnerves me; no matter how comfy things are in here.
