probably divergent outcomes in different places. info tech has changed the situation for ruling classes permanently. so they either need to be more transparent in their dominance or give up a bit of power.

you are of course correct, but when I say complex system, I really mean living system, and my working assumption is that there is nth order adaptation in such systems that renders such a model overly simplistic.

In a complex system with constant input or intervention, when equilibrium is achieved that equilibrium will *necessarily* depend on said input, and if removed will always cause destabilization
