My iMac Pro was really dragging. I had a bunch of stuff going on and didn't want to reboot, so I finally spent a minute to find out why. *Six* PDP-10 emulators that I was using recently and forgot to kill. All is well again.

educators, I need your help. I have a student that is completely vision impaired in my Digital Forensics course. He's very driven, but the course is mostly lab-based using open source tools and deep diving into artifacts in a hex editor. Any tips?

Only 56 cores per chip, eh? Perhaps the students who haven't yet forgiven me for years of ranting about programming (at the very least: having heard of it; at the very best, embracing it) might now see a way forward.

🙄 It’s a couple decades worth of work dropped into our laps, increasing RE capability among people getting into the field, and one of the best and most direct uses of our taxpayer money towards the infosec community. They’ve earned two spray-painted toy ponies.

Are you planning on being physically assaulted? The B300 could probably survive a direct missile strike.
