How much melon (and what kind) does one have to consume to overdose? Also, source other than "1234 Quite Interesting Facts to Leave You Speechless"?

It kills me that news pieces keep saying "The US government has shut down for the first time in a little over four year/since 2013;" this makes it seem like this is normal/should happen more often. STOP!

Whenever I have a week where I feel especially frustrated with the , I look at what has happened with that week and feel relieved that the STM did not catch fire, flood, or derail (or some combination of the three).

The President who was spanked with a copy of Forbes by the porn star with whom he had adulterous, unprotected sex 4 months after his 3rd wife gave birth now wants to allow "Christian" doctors and nurses to deny healthcare to LGBT people because they disapprove of that lifestyle.

Impressively it took 4 hours (one and a third classes) before my principles of archiving class mentioned Stasi records (as an example of why we shouldn't destroy such things).

As a person I don't like shafting Dreamers, but as a Marylander I'm against shutting down the government more. Please vote for a Continuing Resolution.

As I live in Canada (but am not Canadian), no, I don't really want to see a bunch of elderly Canadians deported for overstaying their 6 allowed months. But if we have to, sure, since they put more strain on the "system" than a handful of working Haitians.

Also, most of those 90k+ Canadians are going to be retired "snow birds" who stay 6+ months a year in mainly Florida and Arizona and put a strain on the US health care system by being elderly.

Ok, so ban Canadians, Mexicans, Brazilians, Germans, Italians, Brits, Colombians, the Chinese, Indians, and Venezuelans from applying first.

Really, it's ok to say it's too much and resign. You wouldn't even be the first president to resign.

Then let's have a more balanced electoral college where one person in WY isn't worth four times that of one person in NY. Or assign each elector to cast a vote for a congressional district (this then stop ignoring red districts in blue states and blue districts in red states).

You're seriously concerned about 15-ish people a year (taking a few to mean three, 40% of 36 is 14.4)? I've got bigger/better things to be concerned about than 15-ish people a year.
