The contrast between (a) the generosity Republicans are extending to Kavanaugh due to his age at the time and (b) the incredibly harsh laws they generally support about treating teeangers as adults in the criminal justice system, is indeed stark & impossible to reconcile:

I believe in all sorts of K-12 education reform, especially those aimed at improving things for students and parents. Oddly, charters, which often pay less than trad schools, are able to staff up pretty well. 2/2
