Another zinger: if neoliberalism is purely economic and class reductionism is real, then why do ppl *feel* it to be true? For Hall, one answer, beyond the libidinal pleasures of bigotry, is that getting ppl to "feel" Thatcherism has been the work of a neolib culture industry!
