Anglicans are the Jesuits of Protestantism—originally the terror of the papacy but now...no one’s quite sure what they are.

This is amazing. I'm grateful Texas' 14th Court of Appeals dismissed a challenge to drive-through voting here. That's how I cast my ballot. It was quick, easy, and a safe option because I didn't have to worry about waiting in line next to voters who refuse to wear face masks.

How about something in between? Keep bars closed, minimize indoor dining, ($ to support them) Universal masking Ubiquitous testing Consistent messaging about avoiding large gatherings $ to improve ventilation in schools, etc We used to be a country that did hard things

You know what's so infuriating? These things shouldn't even be particularly hard. So many of the deaths, so much of the economic and social pain...have been avoidable.

If we had listened to scientists, we could have had a tighter lockdown over and done with long ago, and people would be going to stadiums, entering churches, and sending their kids back to school safely now. I’ll never understand why we opted for half-measures that led to a mess.

"Render unto Caesar what is Caesars and Render unto God what is Gods" We've been doing a lot of rending unto Caesar lately -- and far too little to God, friends.

I promise that I didn’t skip over any parts. There was certainly not any hand-wringing, not one second of doubt. Clarity will do that.

I took advantage of drive-through voting at NRG Stadium in Houston, and there was very little time spent waiting in line as I sat in my car. The poll worker at the individual station where I cast my ballot, an open tent into which one drives, was surprised how quickly I finished.

I voted today in Harris County, Texas. So did more than 100,000 of my neighbors, just like previous day and the day before that and the day before that. Those are now the four highest single-day totals here for early voting.

Here in Houston, I voted in my 9th presidential election today. promised me that I could vote from my truck thanks to drive-through voting . But they let me vote that way anyway at NRG Stadium, even though I don’t own a truck! Huzzah!

Dear relatives of mine and their friends: The Babylon Bee is satire, a conservative Christian version of , which is also not real news but definitely more humorous than the Babylon Bee.
