Have the good people of NGO sector/civil society denounced Noble Laureate yet for instrumentalising children to give legitimacy to RSS? I am anguished at censoring myself & not tagging those I want to ask. Help me by retweeting, tagging to amplify my voice.

I remember refused to condemn the rapists-murderers of little despite many calls to do so. Released a wishy-washy statement later. Seems increasingly that, for him, political partisanship is more important than defending children.

What amazes me about some of the accused's statements about is how so many men are willing to believe anything, ANYTHING (Persecution! Conspiracy theory! I'm being targeted!) except the fact that their behaviour did, in fact, make women very unhappy.

So believes RSS should be a firewall to protect India's children. Make that some children. Make that some children of a specific faith. For the others, there's fire raging around them, and a wall too high to climb.

Proud of team & for giving the space she needed this week, and for giving readers a reason to hope that there is still space in India's mainstream media for courageous stances that transcend columns. My baby makes me smile today.
