Hi Jane! There's a great tool called 'Starlings in the UK' which has a map of reported starling roosts, as well as how big they are. You can take a look at this here and see what you think is best for you: We hope this helps :)

...Food should be placed some distance away to ensure that other birds won't deter the wren from the nestbox. They are insectivores so you can try bug-based suet nibbles and mealworms, and they also like berry nibbles and our favourites blend. Hope this helps!

Hi there :) This is actually a wren! You can watch from a scope from a nearby window (with binoculars if it's far away) and, once the birds are finished nesting for the year, you could consider a nestbox with a camera for the following breeding season... [1]

It's time for another fact! Did you know, using a seed feeder can attract many different species to your garden, including sparrows, tits, finches and siskins?! You can shop our range of seed feeders here:

Hi there! Hard to say for certain without having a picture to ID the bird. Cormorants are more common that far in land, however they are usually found in groups. This alone wouldn't rule a comorant out... [1]

Our work at is a great example. Volunteers helped us restore the peatland – which locks in huge amounts of carbon, acts as a water filter system and is home to incredible, threatened species

Habitats such as peatlands, forests, meadowlands and wetlands are vital for nature. And they double up as incredible carbon sinks. Last year the UN released a report warning we can harness the power of nature to curb the , but only if world leaders act urgently.
