We agree in that the physician should be in the loop. But technology such as this could help automate screening (as an add-on alert system) and save time to physicians.

There are lots of cons to blood draws and blood work as well. We appreciate that you are not able to see the potential benefits of an eventual automated an non-invasive screening system for anaemia on the basis of existing healthcare practice.

Because this would be an even cheaper and easier screening method, especially for routinely taken retinal images for those with diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions.
