Pre , I assumed adolescent rebellion was just part of the process. Now I understand that there's the tyranny of "going along to get along" as well as rebellion, both driven by anxiety and stunt growth.

My wife's a child psychiatrist at Women's College Hospital. Staff have been gathering research and drafting policy for... marijuana. My understanding is their patients (women who are pregnant) are ill informed due to downplaying of impact on fetus.

Spent years working in youth addictions in Vancouver, BC. The suburban kids we saw were heavily impacted by marijuana not alcohol, opioids, etc. Currently do marital work in Toronto - again, marijuana the main issue in my office.

I see that. But the researchers believe (hope?) that their findings might sway people to abandon their tribal positions. I cant see that happening. More likely, things will have to regress much further before self-reflection kicks in.

My first (of two) panic attacks happened after my parents’ divorce. No longer part of that triangle, I was free to choose how to live my life. My symptoms were a sign that I was on the right path. Haven’t had another panic attack since.
