A moment of appreciation for Rafael Nadal here: 11-1 versus Federer and Djokovic at Roland Garros. He stood in the way so many times.

To be clear, it shouldn't take away from the titles, but also notable both got them without going through Rafa.

Try being Andy Murray during the Federer, Rafa, Djokovic era. He never got a turn. Probably never will.

Fortunate for them Rafa wasn't guarding the gate in '09 & '16 ;) What an era of tennis. 4-Champions complete the Career Slam

So true.. He will definitely need a bit of luck (i.e a good draw, ND & RN not in form, etc).

Andy managed to win 2 Majors (US Open, Wimbledon) by defeating ND. Hope he adds to that total, it will be tough.

And a gold medal too. Just saying he's by far mostly been just short.

0 for 5 there. 2 for 10 in majors overall. Life isn't fair.

Oddly enough, all 10 of those losses to Fed or Novak. None to Rafa.
