Told my first family member last night...and they were completely supportive! My wife and I are so relived. But OMG was it scary.

There are definitely days that I struggle. Finding my own identity again has been hard. But it’s also changed our lives for the better. It’s wonderful to connect with others who’ve had the same experience.

It is hard sometimes. I can’t lie about that. But you can’t really love someone and not want them to be everything they were meant to be. Seeing her happy is so amazing.

Since is trending, we'd like remind everyone that Black women face higher risks of pregnancy complications and maternal mortality. We can't just support Black women on Twitter; we must fight to provide all Black women with proper reproductive care.

I took “women’s studies” before trans was even considered. Having my spouse realize she is trans after seventeen years of marriage forced me to reconsider everything I thought I knew about gender. It’s both amazing and disorienting. But I have never loved her more.

It’s been a hard year. Self care isn’t just bubble baths and getting your nails done. What are you doing to take care of yourself? Even if it’s hard.

Love love. My spouse started transitioning at 37. It’s never too late to be your true self.

My spouse started her transition at 37. She often thinks she’s too old or shouldn’t even bother. I think it’s never too late to be you.
